IEEE CIS ECTC Task Force on Education
Purpose
The main aim of the task force on Education of the IEEE CIS Technical Committee on Evolutionary Computation is to promote Education of Evolutionary Computational: this is investing in our future!
To promote knowledge dissemination in evolutionary computational, multimedia tutorials are being developed, as well as courses and summer schools are being supported. To help graduate student research and exchange especially at the international level summer research grants are provided.
New initiative will be also developed soon to cover the needs from the high school to continuous education in order to serve the evolutionary computational community and all people interested in evolutionary computational and its applications. Among these planned activities there are: student games-based competitions, pre-college educational programs, development of suggested university curricula, continuing education programs (especially for people in industry), and creation of the educational archive.
